The Museum of Jurassic Technology is both a museum and a conceptual art piece, displaying exhibits of a type much like a curiosity shop of yore and less like an actual museum. Set within a dark, almost dingy feeling building, the museum's permanent collection features an exhibit on the culture of trailer parks and a collection of micro-miniature art pieces, including a sculpture of the Pope created from a single human hair. The quirky attraction is located in the Palms district, near Culver Junction.
Open Thurs. 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Fri. - Sun. noon - 6:00 p.m.
Suggested donation: Adults $5; Children (12-21), Students and Seniors (60+) $3.
